Wayne County Public Schools offers a specialized service during the school year to our military - a counselor dedicated to addressing the needs and issues specific to military families. In this role, the military counselor serves as a consultant, coordinator, and liaison to all schools in the system.
The Military Counselor website is an outreach initiative intended to serve as a communication tool for military families seeking resources: information about education for military students, PCS, deployment, special needs, and the like.

Mission: To research, develop and implement programs and practices that will support the military student in Wayne County Public Schools.
