 WCPS recently named Cynthia Smith (Mount Olive Middle Business Teacher) and Durrell Coley (Southern Wayne High Masonry Teacher) as the Career & Technical Education (CTE) Outstanding Middle & High School Teachers of the Year. They, along with their principals Tammy Keel (MOM) and Dr. John Boldt (SWH), are shown above being recognized by the W.C. Board of Education. Merle Elam (Rosewood Elem. Art Teacher) was also named the Zeno Spence Elementary Art Educator of the Year. She is shown above (L-R) with Dr. Steven Taylor (Superintendent), Hope Meyerhoeffer (Director of Visual Arts), and Zeno Spence (Master Artist).
