Best Wishes to 23 of our ESL students who will be competing with other Wayne County Public Schools at Goldsboro High School on Tuesday, April 16. We will have two entries: a poetry dialogue and an instrumental piece.

Four of our most talented fourth graders will be performing at the Wayne County All County Honors Chorus event on Tuesday evening, April 23, at 7:00 p.m. at Goldsboro High School. This concert is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 6:15. Students are to arrive at 6:15 p.m. in the GHS Media Center. The dress attire for our students will be a red dressy top, black dress pants, black socks/hose, and black shoes.

Just a reminder for these parents that there will be two required rehearsals. The first is on Monday afternoon, April 22, at 3:45-7:00 p.m. Students should arrive in the GHS auditorium promptly at 3:45 p.m. Parents are responsible for bringing and picking up their children from the GHS auditorium on Monday afternoon. The second required rehearsal will be on Tuesday morning, April 23. Students need to arrive at Meadow Lane on Tuesday morning no later than 8:25 a.m. so we can board an activity bus that will take us to GHS for the 9:00-12:00 rehearsal. Students will eat out at Pizza Inn for lunch and then return to Meadow Lane by bus.
