Welcome Students and Parents,

I would like to take this opportunity to officially welcome you to Wayne School of Engineering (WSE) for the 2012-2013 school year.  Once again, we are expanding to add middle grades to our program.  This addition will allow us to get a head start on fostering positive relationships and introducing powerful teaching and learning to students at a younger age.

The honors curriculum is designed to give students the skills and drive necessary to compete in this 21st century global society.  Students focus on 21st century skills in all courses taken at WSE, as students are required to demonstrate written, oral, and technological skills in all classes.

Parents are welcome as we want this school to be a comfortable place where learning and understanding are of the utmost importance.  As you are aware, it takes all involved to make student academic success a priority, so I pledge my support in making sure that WSE students are offered a rigorous and relevant course load that prepares them for the future ahead.

Communication is very important to us, and the teachers are committed to providing support to you in this academic environment.  Please feel free to contact them as needed as they will contact you.  Open lines of communication are very important to us and will help us better serve each student and parent.

At Wayne School of Engineering, positive and helpful customer service is of main concern, so if there is ever a question, please feel free to drop by the school or call so that your questions may be answered.
