Beginning my second year at SWHS, I feel very blessed that I have the opportunity  to serve the students and families of this school.  One of my primary roles as the school social worker is to serve as a liaison between home, school and the community.  My main goal is to help ensure success for all of our students.  I am a Licensed School Social Worker, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate.  I received a Master of Social Work degree from East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Mount Olive.  I am a native of Wayne County and a proud graduate of SWHS!

Social Worker Responsibilities include:
  • academic concerns
  • behavior concerns
  • child abuse and neglect issues
  • family violence
  • attendance/truancy
  • homelessness
  • health issues
