  • Community Eligibility Provision program: The following schools are participating in the CEP program during the 2014-15 school year: Brogden Middle, Brogden Primary, Carver Elementary, Carver Heights Elementary, Dillard Middle, Eastern Wayne Elementary, Fremont STARS Elementary, Goldsboro High, North Drive Elementary, School Street Elementary, Spring Creek Elementary, and Wayne Academy. Applications for free or reduced lunch meals will not be distributed this year. All students attending one of these schools, regardless of family income, who wish to eat in the cafeteria, will now receive their meals at no cost.

  • Read to Achieve: K-3 parents can learn more about the North Carolina Read to Achieve law, which requires all students to become proficient readers by the end of third grade, by clicking on Read to Achieve. There they can review the North Carolina Read to Achieve Guide's detailed outline of the law, view a parent video, and access other pertinent information.
