FCCLA members: We will have a Christmas Card signing for "Holiday Mail for Heroes" tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec. 3rd in MC-13. Please plan on meeting from 7:30 - 7:55. If you would like to donate Christmas cards, please bring them to MC-13.
This Friday, December 6th is the final day to purchase a senior ad for the yearbook. Mrs. Krochta needs the pictures, contract and money by this Friday. Please do not just send money and a contract. We cannot do anything until we get the pictures. Those who have already sent a contract and check, but no pictures, you must submit your pictures by this Friday.
The CBA Singing Falcons will perform tomorrow, Tuesday, December 3rd at 7:00pm at the annual Wayne County Choral Showcase. The showcase will be held in the Goldsboro High School auditorium and will also feature performances by students from Fremont STARS and Norwayne Middle. Admission is $5.00 for persons of school age or older with proceeds returning to the local school music programs. Come out and support the Singing Falcons and the performing arts in Wayne County!
The Yearbook staff would like to sincerely thank students and staff members who contributed to the Layne Knopick senior ad fund. Our goal of $370 was met last week. If any student has pictures of Layne that they would like to see on his page, please bring them to room 206.
The CBA Scholarship Committee will nominate one senior to compete for a full tuition scholarship at Campbell University. To be eligible you must have an unweighted GPA of 3.5 or higher, rank in the upper 10% of the senior class and have an SAT score of 1800 or higher and an ACT score of 27 or higher. See Ms Diggs for more information.
The Art Club and the Art classes are sponsoring a shoe collection drive for needy people in Wayne County. Please bring shoes from infant to big foot sizes to MC 7 or place them in the collection boxes in the old gym lobby. Our school wide goal is 1,000 pairs of shoes by tomorrow, December 3rd please help us reach that goal. If you have questions please see Mrs. Frederick in MC 7.
If you enjoy creative writing or drawing, enter your work in the Wayne Collection, Wayne County's annual literary magazine. Sixteen entries will be chosen to be published in the magazine. See any English teacher for an entry form.
