Congratulations to the following students for selection in the 2014 WCPS All County Band. CBA claimed 23 out of 48 chairs, far and away the most represented among the 6 high schools. Students selected were Emily Hood, Shyann Dussault, Gabrielle Petersen, Lena Preddy, Danielle Sellers, Katelyn Bauguess, Sunny Smith, Julia Stamper, Baylee Huff, Stephanie Barrett, Brooke LaVoie, Kennedy Perkins, Brandon Gutierrez, Jamar Owens, Matthew Jennette, Gabriel Luna, Alex Venditti, Tyler Hicks, Isabelle Boulanger, William Ohnmeiss, Halana Romine, Riley Moore, and Kristen Lenk. Please congratulate these students and come to the concert on March 27th at Dillard Middle!
Auditions for the 2014 CBA Color Guard will be held on March 5, 6, and 7th in the CBA band room from 3:30-5:30. We are seeking respectful and highly motivated students for this year's guard. Dance experience is a plus! Please sign-up on the band room door and be sure to dress appropriately.
Think you can play a beat???? Auditions for the 2014 CBA drumline will be held March 10, 12, and 14 in the CBA band room from 3:30-5:00 each day. Don't be scared if you don't know much about playing or can't read music.... you'll learn as you have fun playing! Please sign-up on the band room door.
Looking for summer programs? Check out the "Summer Program Opportunities" tab on the counseling services website. Program locations include ECU and NC State, as well as out of state programs. Stop by the counseling office if you have any questions.
Seniors! The scholarship newsletter for March has been posted at CBA's website. There are also a limited number of copies available in the counseling office.
Last chance for prom tickets! On sale: Wed/ Thurs, March 5th and 6th, during lunch, in the Media center for $45.00 per ticket. For all ticket buyers: Guest information is due March 6th. Deliver the needed information to Mrs. Long in the Media Center.
Pi-Day shirts are available for order! See any math teacher to order yours today. Color choices are black and Aycock Blue and the cost is $12.00. Pictures of the shirts are in every math classroom. The last day to order is March 5.
Cap and Gown picture day has been rescheduled for March 6th. Your appointment times remain the same. There is no retake date for Cap and Gown pictures. See Mrs. Krochta with questions about your appointment time. You must bring your $10 sitting fee March 6th.
Spring Sports will be photographed after school on March 6th. Baseball will not be doing individuals at this time, just team pictures. See your coach for order forms; bring your money March 6th.

Yearbook applications for the 2014-15 school year are now available from Mrs. Krochta in 206, on her website, or in the guidance office. Students must enjoy photography, writing and have basic computer skills. Hall roamers and procrastinators need not apply!
Yearbook is in need of photos of National Honor Society events. If you have any pictures of events that have taken place this year, or last year if they have current students in them (like induction ceremony) please send them to email@example.com or bring them to 206.
Females in need of a prom dress you are in luck! Bethel Church on William Street will hold a mini-dress shop event on March 15th from 12-4PM. Dresses will be given out on a first-come. first-served basis. If you are interested in this event or would like to donate please contact Carrie Wildman at 919-394-6981 or via Facebook message. We would like to know how many to girls are expecting to attend.
Young ladies between the ages of 16 and 19 who are interested in competing in the Fremont Miss Daffodil Competition, should pick up an application from Natalie’s Family Hair & Tanning Salon Tuesday - Saturday. The Salon is located on Main Street in Fremont. The winner of the title will receive the Jean Thorpe Scholarship. All applications are due by Friday, March 7th.
