Congratulations to Emily Hood for her selection as the Drum Major for the 2013 Golden Falcon Marching Band.
Friday, May 24th - Senior Group Photo @ 8:00 a.m.. All seniors need to report directly  to the new gym dressed in graduation  attire with cap/gown/accolades and  ready to get their picture made.
 
Friday, May 24th - Senior Picnic will be from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.. All seniors should have received a letter  in homeroom. Please refer to the letter  for information concerning the picnic.
 
All seniors who presented last week please come by the media center to collect your products.
 
Senior can purchase a copy of the Senior Video that will be shown on Awards Day for $15.  Bring your money to Ms. Beaman in room 412.
 
Seniors:  If you need extra announcements please contact Mrs. Burger.  They are $2.00 each.
 
Ambassador applications for Juniors and Sophomores will be available to pick up in the counseling office, Room 106, Last year's ambassadors must reapply. Deadline to apply is May 22nd. 
 
YEARBOOKS will be on sale. If you already purchased, pick up your copy in the concession stand during your lunch. If you need to purchase one, bring your cash or money order to the concession stand during your lunch. No checks will be accepted.
 

The Spring Athletic Awards night will be Thurs.  May 23rd @ 6:30pm in the new gym.  All spring athletes are encouraged to attend. (Thru May 23).

Attention Senior males, the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity is offering a scholarship.  Recipients will be selected based on academics, community service and financial need.  Come to the counseling office for the application.  Deadline to submit the application is today, May 20th.

 
Teachers that send students to discard trash  in dumpsters please tell them to shut the doors, because the cafeteria gets points knocked off from grade from the health dept.
 
2013 Color Guard Students:  The 2nd payment on uniform and your measurements are now past due.  Please make arrangements with Mr. Palmer ASAP.  All uniform fees should be paid in full by June 8. 

Any senior National Honor Society member that needs service hours should see Mrs. Davis as soon as possible.  You are to have 20 hours completed by the end of May.

Seniors:  If you still need to pick up your Cap & Gown/Supplies see Mrs. Burger in MC-13.  If you owe a balance you must bring the EXACT AMOUNT IN CASH OR MONEY ORDER ONLY.
 
The next Driver Education classes will be held at the following locations for summer 2013:Eastern Wayne High - June 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21  (Too young if birthday is after Dec 16, 1998)
Charles B. Aycock - July 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 (Too young if birthday is after Jan 7.1999)
Rosewood High - August 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 (Too young if birthday is after Feb 5, 1999)
Students shall bring a #2 pencil and paper to class for class work.  Classes will meet in the each cafeteria from 8 am to 2 pm.  The sign up sheet will be on the bulletin board across from the media center. Students may sign up at any school that is appropriate. Thanks.
