Homecoming Dance Tickets can be picked up Friday in the library during lunch.
Clubs and Organization Members: Please make a HOMECOMING BANNER or SIGN to be hung on the football field fence for Homecoming night showing your support of CBA and the football team! Send to MC-13 by 12:00 today, Friday, Oct 17th.
Presale tickets to the homecoming football game will be on sale during lunch in the front lobby for $7.00 today. Purchase your ticket in advance for the game to avoid standing in the long lines at the gate.
Any FCCLA member interested in attending the Fall Leadership Conference needs to see Mrs. Burger in MC-13 or Miss. Clark in Room 114 to pick up a field trip form. Forms and $15 registration is DUE no later than today, OCT. 17 to Mrs. Burger.
Attention students who will take the PSAT Saturday. Please be sure to read the instructions for test day. You will need to bring #2 pencils, a scientific or graphing calculator and your photo ID. If you have decided not to take the test, see Ms. Diggs ASAP.
Students if you are buying a school lunch, please wait at the cash register until the cashier lets know you that she is finished ringing up your meal.
If you would like to enter the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay Contest, please see Ms. Edwards in room 209 or look for the poster on the information board on the 200 wing. Winners receive up to $10,000.
Seniors! We are having a baby page in the yearbook. Please bring a photo of you between newborn and 3 years old. Write your name and homeroom on the back of the photo so we can return it to you. Bring a baby picture to room 206, or email it firstname.lastname@example.org by Oct. 21 to be included. Space is limited!
The marching band is looking for 2-3 responsible dependable student managers to assist with props and equipment at contest on October 25 and November 1. Managers must be available for all Tuesday and Thursday practices for the remainder of October and the days of competition and must purchase a t-shirt for contest days. Interested students should contact Mr. Palmer in room 418 and be prepared to list 2 teacher references.
Powderpuff will be Tuesday, October 28th. If you would like to play or cheer, please sign up with Mrs. Rhonda Davis in room 502 by Tuesday, October 21st. It cost $10 to play. All proceeds will go to Breast Cancer. Each team will have 15 players so sign up early.
The photo club meeting has been rescheduled for Oct. 21. Students interested in joining the photography club should sign up on the club website, submit their 3 photos, and pay their dues by October 20. Dues are $15 and can be paid to Mrs. Long in the Media Center. The club website is located at www.waynecountyschools.org/cbaphoto . The first meeting will be held in the media center on October 21 at 11:00.
Blood Drive appointments will be given out on 10-22-14 during homeroom. Please make sure you bring a picture ID with you to your appointment. Make sure you eat a good breakfast the day of the Blood Drive and do not skip lunch that day. Make sure you start drinking an extra bottle of water each day, beginning on Monday, October 20th. Make sure you get plenty of rest the night before the Blood Drive.
Picture retake/absentee and club picture day is Oct. 28th. The club schedule will be forthcoming.
The David Williams Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution offer you the opportunity to participate in the annual Christopher Columbus essay contest. The entry deadline is November 20. See Ms. Edwards in room 209 for details.
Senior ads for the 2015 yearbook are now on sale! You should have received a contract in your senior conference and they will also be mailed home. The early bird discount applies to full page ads only- They are $25 off until Oct. 31. $10 off anytime you turn in your photos in digitally. Deadline is December 12th and space is limited!
