Please try to keep absences at a minimum. It is very difficult to make up missed group work and hands-on activities. After returning from an absence, students are given the number of days of the absence to turn in work assigned during the absence. Work handed in later than this time will receive no credit. Work that was assigned before the absence is due on the day the student returns to school. Also on the day the student returns to school, he/she should be prepared to take any test or quiz that was announced before the absence. It is the student’s responsibility to make-up any assignment when absent. There is a basket in the classroom that contains assignments for the students that were absent.
