The primary goal of Wayne Middle/High Academy is to provide an alternative education for students in grades 6-12 who have been referred from a traditional (base) school setting. Once a student is referred, the parent schedules an intake appointment with the school principal, Ms. Carole Battle. Once the intake is held, students may begin school that same day or the following day.
When a student withdraws from Wayne Middle/High Academy due to moving outside of Wayne County, the parent must call the school to inform the secretary that the student is withdrawing. The withdrawal form will be ready for the parent to pick up the following day.
