A Letter From the Principal

Natale Nelson
Greetings to All Mount Olive Middle School Stakeholders,

Welcome to another great year at Mount Olive Middle School. It is such a privilege to get to work with the magnificent Mount Olive Middle School family of parents, teachers, and students every day.

As the Principal of MOMS, I enjoy coming to work every day to ensure that a positive and nurturing learning environment surrounds each one of our students. Please keep in mind that it is the mission of the staff at MOMS to teach students skills that will enable them to be competitive in the 21stcentury. With the high expectations set by each member of the staff, our students have no other choice but to succeed. One of our biggest initiatives is implementing a successful Positive Behavior Intervention and Support program. Students are reminded to:

1. Be Responsible

2. Be Prepared

3. Show Respect

4. Always do your Best

These behaviors are to be displayed in the classroom, cafeteria, hallway, restroom and on the bus. Each month students who have no discipline assigned as a result of a write up will attend the PBIS Celebration.

We continue to strive to make MOMS the best school in Wayne County. However, this can not be achieved without you. Therefore, please feel free to volunteer within our school. There are so many ways we can work together to increase our CHARGER PRIDE.
