Principal: Karen Small Rogers
Karen Small Rogers joined Rosewood High in 2015. Mrs. Rogers began her education career in 1997 as an Exceptional Children’s teacher at Southern Wayne High. In 2000, she transferred to Tommy’s Road Elementary. In 2005, she transitioned to the Central Office where she served as a Title I Leader Teacher, a Teaching and Learning Coach, and a Lead Teacher for Human Resources/Title II. In 2011, Mrs. Rogers transitioned into school administration as an assistant principal at Southern Wayne High, where she served until joining the RHS family. Mrs. Rogers holds an associate’s degree from Wayne Community College. From East Carolina University, she holds a bachelor’s degree in learning disabilities education, a master’s degree in education, a certification in school administration and a certification in elementary education.
Assistant Principal: Charles Crumpler
Mr. Charles Crumpler is serving as the Assistant Principal at Rosewood High School. Mr. Crumpler joined RHS in July of 2018. Prior to Rosewood, Mr. Crumpler was the Assistant Principal at Eastern Wayne Middle School. Mr. Crumpler is both charismatic and goal directed towards both students and staff. Since joining Wayne County Public Schools, Mr. Crumpler has held on to his high standards of learning and has expanded his focus to family and community involvement, support for military-connected students, and a strong support for the arts.
