Graduation Standards for students entering High School in 2008
Students will be required to score a Level III or Level IV on five End-of-Course (EOC) assessments: English I, Algebra I, Biology, Civics and Economics, and US History. A graduation project must also be completed. Students must also make a passing score on the computer skills test and complete a North Carolina Course of Study: College/University Prep, College Tech Prep, Career Prep or Occupational.
Grade 9 Promotion Standards
Students must pass six credits. In addition, students must score a Level III or IV on Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) tests: English I, Algebra I, and the Writing test in Grade 10 or participate in principal approved focused intervention.
