Mr. Alan Williams
Assistant Principal

Asst Principal Alan Williams

As a new administrator to Wayne Middle/High Academy and Wayne County Public Schools, I have enjoyed getting to know the students and staff.  I have come to love our school and cherish the opportunity each day holds to work with our students and support them as they learn, achieve, and grow.

After completing my undergraduate degree at Davidson College and my masters at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, I began my educational career as a middle school math teacher at Ferndale Middle School in Guilford County.  While at Ferndale Middle School, I taught math 6, math 7, advanced math 6, 7th grade pre-algebra, and algebra I.  During this time I also completed my Post Masters Certificate in School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  The following year my wife and I relocated to Mount Olive and I began teaching middle school math at Sampson Middle School in Clinton.  Finally, this past summer I accepted the Assistant Principal position here at Wayne Middle/High Academy.
