The Sony Playstation Lab at Carver Heights uses Lightspan software that is curriculm-based.   PlayStation consoles are used, which makes it more user friendly to the students.  Carver Heights Shool  has used this tool to help students learn about fourteen years.  It provides resources to help students  learn by visualizing and actually working and promoting enthusiasm  to learn.  The subject areas worked on are Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies.  The Lab enhances the learning for students.
