“This week, I had the opportunity to meet with my staff, sit down with eleventh and twelfth grade student leaders, and begin getting out into the community,” states Mr. Horne. “I look forward to these upcoming Meet and Greet events to meet with more students, families, and community members. I believe these events will be a great way to introduce myself to the public, provide me opportunities to listen and learn from stakeholders, and ultimately become the first steps to working together with my school community to cultivate a shared vision for the future of Goldsboro High.”

The Meet and Greet events are intended to be floating and informal in nature. Mr. Horne will take a few minutes at the beginning of each event to introduce himself and his family. Following the introductions, he will mingle, engage, and talk with those who come out.
