SchoolMessenger Notifications: The SchoolMessenger notification system allows for instant school to home communications. From emergencies to weather-related closures/delays to general reminders, SchoolMessenger can deliver thousands of messages per minute. 

Automated Attendance Messages - If a child is absent from school, parents and guardians will receive an automated attendance message through the district’s SchoolMessenger system. The automated attendance messages will be sent home Monday through Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Contact Manager (Parent Portal) - Parents and guardians can customize how they want to receive messages and where they want them sent. Send a message to your home phone, work phone, cell phone, text, or e-mail. It's your choice about where and how messages are delivered. Learn how to sign up by clicking on Phone Activation Directions. To sign up, click on Contact Manager (Please note: Some browsers do not support Contact Manager - Chrome & Firefox recommended)

Wrong Numbers - Are you receiving messages and do not have a child enrolled in Wayne County Public Schools? Please call 919-705-6125 so we can investigate the number being called. In addition to making sure unnecessary calls to your number are stopped, once we identify which student the phone number is currently assigned to, we can contact his/her parents to verify their most up-to-date contact numbers.
