Governor's School of North Carolina 
Summer residential program for gifted and talented rising seniors located at two different college campuses. Students must be nominated by their school to attend.

Martha Guy Summer Institute 
Three week summer experience at Appalachian State University that gives students a chance to explore different disciplines within business, exposes them to regional business leaders and develops leadership and professional behavior skills needed to be successful in the business realm.

Broyhill Leadership Conference
A Leadership Conference  for rising 10th-12th graders and current year high school graduates who are interested in finding out how to make a difference in the world using their unique skills and personality.

Youth Shelton Challenge
A six-day summer experience for rising 9th- 12th graders. Shelton’s five cornerstones of values-based leadership—honesty, integrity, compassion, diversity and social responsibility—are the foundations of the camp. The core curriculum focuses on Personal Leadership Assessment and Interpersonal Dynamics, Role of Values and Ethics in Leadership, Leadership Traits and Approaches, Teambuilding and Empowering Others, Social Responsibility, Public Speaking, and Goal Setting.

SATELLITE
Satellite is a 5 day program on NC State's campus that exposes students to STEM Opportunities, leadership and personal growth. They accept sophomores from rural high schools who would like to explore and engage with current issues and career paths in the sciences and in technology-related disciplines through innovative lectures and hands-on laboratory experiences. Students also gain exposure to the university experience through on-campus housing accommodations, touring university facilities, and seminars with current students and staff. Camp this year runs May 9th- 13th.

Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies 
Stanford Pre-Collegiate Summer Institute is a three-week summer residential program held on Stanford's campus that provides academically talented and intellectually curious students currently in grades 8–11 with intensive study in a single course.
