Non-Traditional Schools

Wayne County Public Schools is proud to have two non-traditional high schools to which students may apply. Wayne Early/Middle College High School (WEMCHS) accepts applications for incoming freshmen during the February timeframe each year. Wayne School of Engineering (WSE) accepts applications for incoming 6th graders during the February timeframe each year. Visit each school's website for more information.

Since there is a limited number of seats available at both schools, parents wanting to enroll their child are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Parents who would like more information about the high schools or how to enroll a student may contact:
