Scott Berkeley Air Force Association Scholarship

Scholarships for Military Children

General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant Program
: $500 - $4000 grants to selected sons and daughters of active duty, Title 10 AGR/Reserve, Title 32 AGR performing full-time active duty, retired, retired reserve and deceased Air Force members for their undergraduate studies.

Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund
: For dependent child of an active duty service member who was killed or permanently disabled (100% rating) as the result of an operational mission or training accident, or who is currently certified as POW or MIA. The applicant must also be a senior in high school, a high school graduate, or enrolled in an institution of higher learning, including colleges, universities, or vocational schools.

: Post-9/11 GI Bill went into effect August 1, 2011. Education benefits include: certain National Guard members who were mobilized will now be eligible; up to 100% tuition & fee coverage; monthly living/housing stipend; up to $1000 per year for books/supplies; one-time relocation allowance; and the option to transfer benefits to family members.

Army Emergency Relief's Scholarship Program
: For dependent children of active, retired and deceased soldiers. Scholarships are based on financial need, academics, and leadership/achievement for each academic year. Annual deadline is around April 2.
Army Aviation Association Scholarship Foundation
: Scholarships and interest-free loans awarded to unmarried children & grandchildren of current and deceased members. Annual deadline is May 1.
Special Operations Warrior Foundation
: Provides full scholarship grants and educational and family counseling to the surviving children of special operations personnel who die in operational or training missions and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families.
Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation
