Teresa Hines

Hello parents and students. It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Northwest Elementary; home of the Patriots.

It is our goal to make your child’s time with us pleasurable, meaningful, and memorable. We strive to create an environment where your child can feel safe and secure. We utilize a variety of strategies, materials and resources to ensure we do everything we can to meet your child’s academic and social needs to help your child be successful.

To share a little about myself: I received my degree in Elementary Education from Barton College and my Administrative degree from East Carolina. During my career I have taught second, third, fourth and sixth grades. After I received my administrative degree, I was named Assistant Principal at Carver Heights Elementary and later at Northwest Elementary. I have served Northwest for the last 8 years. I love the families and the environment and I strive to be an advocate for students, teachers, parents and families on a daily basis. My door is always open and I will do my best to answer questions, address concerns, and meet your needs.
