Each school year, WCPS obtains accident insurance for all K-12 students and catastrophic insurance on middle school athletes (catastrophic coverage for high school athletes is through the NCHAA) through the Young Group.  While the accident coverage we have covers students during school activities, it is a supplemental policy.  Parents and/or guardians can enroll in additional coverage for their student through the Young Group should they desire to do so.
