Our Mission:

All Wayne County Schools students will graduate from high school, globally competitive for work and post secondary education and prepared for life in the 21st Century through rigor, relevance, and relationships.

Hours of Operation:
Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
After school hours as requested
Flexible Schedule:
Students and teachers may access library when needed
Teachers may reserve time for Media lessons based on collaboration between teachers and the media coordinator
Students may check out 2 books at a time (may vary if students are involved with a project)
Overdue notices will be published each semester.
Students will be responsible for the cost of lost books at the end of the year.
The Accelerated Reader program is hosted by the media center.
AR Reading:
 Mount Olive Middle uses the online version of AR and has access to over 100,000 titles.
 If you need to check to see if a test is available for your book, look up your title on  This site will also tell you the reading level and number of points for your book.  
COVID 19 Procedures:
Ms. Blokland will bring a cart of books to 5th & 7th grade classrooms on Monday & Thursday and to 6th & 8th grade classrooms on Tuesday & Friday.  
Books handled by students will be quarantined for a period of 3 to 5 days before recirculating. 
Students may request books through email, request forms in the classrooms, or through a Google form:
