I’m a 1981 graduate of Southern Wayne High School and this is my 16th year with Brogden Middle School. Before coming to Wayne County Schools, I previously taught for twelve years as teacher/librarian at Wayne Christian School. I am an ECU graduate with, Master's Degree in Library Science, with a Bachelor in Business Administration from N.C. Wesleyan College and an Associate in Business Administration from Wayne Community College. My husband, Tim, and I are the proud parents of two children; Kyle graduate of ASU Honor's College & Vermont Law School. This year was commissioned into the NAVY JAG. My daughter, Kelli an East Carolina graduate and 4th-year teacher for WCPS as a K5 Resource Teacher at Spring Creek Elementary. When I am not teaching in the library, I enjoy walking our 3 dogs, traveling and going to the beach.
