Hello, Cobra families.

My name is Ricardo Arias-Ruiz, your Assistant Principal at Norwayne Middle School. This is my eighth year in education. I have taught Middle School math for six years and coached soccer at both the Middle and High school levels. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2017 with my Bachelor's Degree and earned my Masters in School Administration from North Carolina Central University in 2025 as a North Carolina Principal Fellow. My wife and I have been married seven years, and we have a four-year-old son!

I believe every student carries potential that deserves to be seen and developed. With clear expectations, high-quality teaching, and proper support, we help turn that potential into confidence and achievement.
