Our bus drivers are dedicated to safety! Please help our drivers by talking about good bus behavior to your child(ren). We expect every child to be on his/her best behavior on the bus! Please let us know if you have a change of address by coming to the school with proof of address. If a student needs a temporary bus change, please send a Dojo message to your child's teacher, or send a note to school. Be sure to include a reliable phone number so you can be reached. We cannot take bus change requests over the phone. 

Bus Rules

Remain in your assigned seat and stay seated.

Keep your hands and feet to yourself at all times.

Speak quietly to your neighbors—No yelling.

Keep your legs, feet, and book bag out of the aisles.

Use kind words, no profanity allowed.

Cell phones are not allowed to be turned on or visible. If students have cell phones, they should be powered off and out of sight while on the bus and in the school building. 

No eating. This is a choking hazard. 

Car Rider Rules and Procedures:

Morning Procedure

• The car rider line is located at the front of the school. Use the outside lane when entering the parking lot. The lane opens into two lanes. Both lanes are available for car riders.

• The car rider line opens at 7:10am and closes at 7:30am.  Our staff will direct you when to drive forward. We normally release 16 cars at a time (8 per lane). Safety is important for all. Please follow directions and drive slowly when entering and exiting the drop off/pick up area. 

• Any students arriving after 7:30 are considered tardy and must be signed in by a parent inside of the building.

• Please do not drop your child off at the front of the school unattended before or after morning carpool

• Our front parking lot is for staff. We have a limited amount of visitor parking for drop off and pick up between the hours of 7:30-2:00. If you have an appointment before 7:30 or after 2:00 or would like to walk your child to the front of the school, please use the gravel parent parking lot. 

• Please do not park in a handicap area unless you are authorized to do so. 

  Afternoon Procedure

• Please display your car rider tag in your car when using the car rider line. If you do not have a car rider tag, please request one from your child's teacher.

• Afternoon pick up begins at 2:45. Please follow staff directions when entering the pick up line. Enter and exit with caution. 

• No cell phone use when driving on school grounds. Be alert!
