Spring Creek School opened as a Kindergarten through 9th grade school in the 1979/80 school year.  In the1992/93 year, the 9th graders were moved into the high schools, so we were Kindergarten through 8th grade.  Spring Creek Elementary was moved out to a new facility on St John's Church Road in 1999/2000, and Spring Creek Middle/High School became a 6th through 9th grade school that year.  Each following year a grade level was added until the 2002/03 year when we became 6th through 12th grade school and had our first graduating class.  A brand-new middle school was built on Park Road in 2015.  The 2014/2015 year was our last year with a middle school.  In 2015/2016 we became a true 9th through 12th grade high school.

In the early years of Spring Creek School we didn't have a gym so we were still using the old Seven Springs School gym on Hwy 55.  Ground was broken in the 1985/86 school year and a new gym was opened for the 1986/87 school year.

After over 20 years of being a high school, we finally got a field house thanks to Beverly Boltinhouse procuring a CTE grant.  Through this grant several students from across the county built the field house during the summer of 2022 under the instruction of different CTE teachers from other schools.  The Ribbon Cutting ceremony was held in the Spring of 2023.
