I am so excited to be here to support you all! School counselors do many things in a day. I am here to:

• Support students’ academic planning and graduation progress

• Provide social-emotional counseling and crisis support

• Help students with college, career, and postsecondary planning

• Advocate for students and collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators

• Respond to mental health and safety concerns

• Maintain student records, schedules, and documentation

• Deliver school-wide lessons and prevention programs

• I am working towards a M.Ed. in School Counseling from NCSU

• I was a high school Math teacher for 4 years.
