 Our Mission:

Rosewood Elementary strives to teach each child a love for learning, respect for others, and responsibility for a brighter future.


Our Beliefs:

  • The education of children is a priority and is the responsibility of the entire community.
  • The school system is accountable to the community.
  • Students learn best when their individual student needs are met.
  • Understanding and respecting cultural diversity enriches the learning environment.
  • Reading is the foundation of education.
  • Committed teachers are essential to student achievement.
  • All students deserve a quality education.
  • Learning is a lifelong process.
  • Every person deserves to be treated equitably.
  • All people desire to learn.
  • Positive self-esteem is important to personal development and success. 




Little EAGLES....

During the school year Little EAGLES will learn and exhibit exceptional character traits. Little EAGLES displaying these traits will receive postive Dojo points. At the end of each nine weeks students that have reached their Dojo goal will celebrate their success with a special treat and classroom activity.  It is our goal for all students to reach their best potential and desire to participate in the celebration through intrinsic motivation.
