Antoinette Council is a parent in Ms. Brown's kindergarten class. She cried her eyes out he first day of school. She did not want to leave her son; it was the first time he had ever been away from her. Over the first several weeks, she became very comfortable with him coming to school. She is a parent who has gone above and beyond for her child's teacher and the other children in the classroom, as well. If there is something that is needed for the class, she is on it, and she gets it for the classroom. Ms. Council will find activities for the children to work on at home, as well as some things they can do in the classroom. She not only looks out for her child, but she looks out for the other children in the classroom as well. Ms. Council displays what a parent of the month looks like.
Gabriella Rivera has been very instrumental in the growth of her son's education. I appreciate so much what she has done for him and the classroom. Mrs. Rivera communicates effectively through Class Dojo and acknowledges all my class stories with a like. If she has any questions, she is sure to ask. Her son participates in all fundraising and special classroom activities. Anytime that the class needs something, Mrs. Rivera makes sure we have it. She makes sure that her son completes all homework assignments and logs in to computer programs at home. Her son has become a very competitive and confident student with the support of his parents. Her son is also a great helper! Thank you, Mrs. Rivera!
Mrs. Shartavia Oaks is our 2nd grade parent of the month! Mrs. Oaks is always willing and ready to provide assistance to the classroom. She also makes sure that support is given where it is needed. We are so lucky to have a parent such as Mrs. Oaks. Thank you for all that you do.
