mClass Assessment (online)

mClass is a universal screener that measures the development of reading skills of all students in grades K-5.  The measures are used to help teachers and schools determine how students are performing on important foundational reading skills. Specified time limits are allotted for varying assessment measures and are given during the digital assessment practice.  All students in grades K-2 complete the mClass assessment.  More information about this assessment can be found here.

Galileo/Imagine Learning Assessment (online)

Galileo Benchmark tests are designed to help students, teachers, and parents identify areas that need work.  The results also inspire, motivate, and guide the students in achieving measurable goals in ELA.  These test results are used to measure student growth and achievement and refine where a student is placed in the Imagine Learning and Language Literacy program. Specified time limits are allotted for varying assessment measures and are given during the digital assessment practice.  All students in grades K-2 complete the Galileo/Imagine Learning Assessment.  More information about this assessment can be found here.

STAR Math (online)

STAR Math is used to show the continuum of math strategies, skills, and subskills needed for students to achieve grade-level math proficiency.  Specified time limits are allotted for varying assessment measures and are given during the digital assessment practice.  Students in grades 1-2 complete each STAR Math assessment.  Kindergarten students only complete the MOY assessment.  More information about the STAR Math assessment can be found here.

Other Assessments

The K-2 Math Assessments are aligned with the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics.  These assessments are intended as a tool to help teachers track student progress, identify particular difficulties, and generally inform instructional planning.  Specified time limits are allotted for varying assessment measures are are given during the paper/pencil assessment practices.  More information about the K-2 math assessments can be found here.

ACCESS for ELL 2.01/4/22-1/28/22Grades K-2online

The ACCESS for ELL 2.0 assessment is used to determine the English language proficiency levels and progress of ELLs in the domains of speaking, listening, reading, and writing.  Specified time limits are allotted for varying assessment measures and are given during the digital assessment practices.  More information about the ACCESS for ELL 2.0 can be found here.

WIDA Screener for ELLs

The WIDA Screener for ELLs serves as an assessment during the school year, providing information that informs instructional planning and other decisions related to ELL students' education.  It is a suite of English language proficiency assessments for grades K-12.  This assessment is given as needed within 30 days of student enrollment for those not yet tested.  Specified time limits are allotted for varying assessment measures are are given during the digital or paper/pencil assessment practices.
