Title I Part A: Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged

The Title I-A program provides services to both public and private school children who need educational assistance and who live in Title I school attendance areas. In addition to instructional services for eligible students, these funds provide professional development activities for teachers of participating children and activities for families of Title I students.
