CBA GRADUATION - CLASS OF 2026:

Important Information:

 Dress Code for Graduates:

●      Attire

  • CBA HS Cap & Gown with only WCPS cords & stoles

  • Dress - White or pastel colored

  • Dress pants (tan, black, or navy blue) and White Shirt

  • No Denim Jeans, Tank-tops, Shorts

●      Shoes

  • No Flip-flops, bedrooms shoes, crocs, or stilettos (as they are hard to walk in on the field and up the ramp)

  • Please be reminded that heels WILL sink into the ground and make it very hard to walk. Please wear flats or wedges.

●      Cap

  • Decorating Your Cap is NOT allowed.

 Graduation Practice:

  • This is a Mandatory event - Graduates who do not attend the Graduation Practice, will not be allowed to walk at Graduation.

  • Monday, June 8, 2026

  • 9:00 AM until released

  • Meet in the New Gym

  • Graduates should bring graduation cap/tassel

  • Graduates should not plan to work on these days.

  • Graduation Tickets will be distributed at the end of graduation practice

  • Each Graduate receives seven (7) tickets for stadium field use. Four (4) of the tickets will be one color and these four (4) tickets will be used for indoor use in New Gym in the event of inclement weather. Three (3) tickets will be a different color.

Graduation Ceremony:

  • Tuesday, June 9, 2026 - 9:00 AM (rain or shine)

  •    If nice weather - at Hardy Talton Stadium Field (7 tickets per graduate - the 7 tickets will be 4 of one color (inclement weather) and 3 will be a different color)

  •    If inclement weather - inside New Gym (4 tickets per graduate)

  •    Seniors report to the New Gym between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM

  •    Must adhere to the Graduation Dress Code (see front). Failure to comply with Graduation Dress Code may not be allowed to walk at Graduation.

  •     Per District expectation, there are to be NO cell phones during the ceremony.

  •     Spectator Gates will close at 8:50 AM. If you are not inside the gates by 8:50 AM, then unfortunately, you will not be allowed to enter once the Graduation processional begins.

  •      Diplomas will be distributed under the tent on the field after the ceremony. Senior homeroom teachers will distribute these diploma packets at the conclusion of the ceremony.

 Important Dates:

  • ASAP - Order cap & gown

  • Feb. 24th, March 3rd, & March 10th - Mandatory Homeroom Attendance Dates

  • March 28th - Prom (all overdue fees should be paid including graduation fees

  • April 1st - Senior Fees due

  • April 15 - Herff Jones will deliver senior supplies/cap and gowns

  • April 30 - Herff Jones Final Delivery of senior supplies/cap and gowns

  • May 19th - Powderpuff Football/Volleyball

  • May 20th - Senior Picnic

  • May 20th - Awards Night

  • May 21st - Awards Day

  • May 22nd - Senior Group Picture (make up weather day for Senior Picnic
