All students wishing to participate in athletics at Eastern Wayne High School must satisify

 ALL of the following requirements:

1. Student must be an enrolled member of Eastern Wayne High School or Wayne School of Technology Arts.

2. Student must live in EWHS's district or have come from one of our feeder schools (EWM, GWD) and have permission to attend EWHS. NOTE: This requirement does NOT apply to students enrolled at Wayne School of Technology Arts

3. Student must have a current physical, completed on the NCHSAA required Pre-Participation form and signed by the parent, the student and a medical professional.  That physical must be on file with the school.

4. Students must have passed 3 out of 4 classes the previous semester. ( Rising 9th graders are eligible if they are promoted to the 9th grade from the 8th grade for the fall and start of the winter seasons only)

5. Students cannot have missed more that 54 class periods the previous semester.  This includes both excused and unexcused absences.  (Rising 9th graders are exempt from this requirement for the fall and start of the winter seasons only)

6. Student must be registered in Final Forms and have all Forms/videos/questionnaires must be completed and signed by parents and students.  Instructions on how to sign up for Final Forms are included on the main Athletics' page.  Please click on the link and follow the directions listed below the link.  PARENTS MUST SET UP AN ACCOUNT BEFORE THE STUDENT CAN SET UP THEIR ACCOUNT. STUDENTS MUST USE THEIR SCHOOL EMAIL.
