Parent Information for Title I

Title I Information & Resources

What Does It Mean to Be a Title I School?

Fremont Elementary is a Title I School. This means we receive federal funds to provide extra help for all students at Fremont. The amount of money we get depends on the number of students who receive free or reduced lunch.

We operate under the School-wide Model. This means Title I funding helps all students within our school. It provides teachers, tutors, books, supplies, and materials. It also provides opportunities for parents to receive training/support to help their child in school.

As a Title I school, we rely on the partnership between school and home to ensure our students succeed. We hope you will feel welcome to be a part of your child’s school experience and a part of the success of Fremont Elementary School.

Parent Engagement Policy & Compacts

It is our goal to always have open lines of communication between home and school. We do use ClassDojo as a daily communication tool. We also have a Parent Engagement Policy which explains our commitment to our families. You may also view our Learning Compacts. These compacts were developed for each grade level and explains the expectations of our school, our parents, and our students.  As parents of a Title I school, you have the right to know the qualifications of your child's teachers. The Highly Qualified Letter details the information you can request of our principal. You may review any of these documents by clicking on them.
