Hello parents and students and welcome to the home of the patriots!  I am honored and excited to be serving as your Assistant Principal of Northwest Elementary. 

A little bit about me. I received my Elementary Education degree from UNC Wilmington and my Administrative degree from Gardner-Webb University. I have been in education for 16 years. I started my career at School Street Elementary where I taught K-3. Then moved to Carver Heights Elementary and taught 3rd grade before becoming the Instructional Coach for grades 3-5. This will be my first year in the administration role and I am looking forward to working with Mrs. Wolfe and the amazing teachers and staff of Northwest. I am also excited to be able to get to know each of you and your students. 

My goal as the assistant principal is to make sure your child has everything they need to be successful academically and socially. I will work with Mrs. Wolfe, our faculty and staff, and community to carry out the vision and mission of Northwest. 

My door is always open and I will do my best to answer any questions, address concerns, and meet your needs.
