Friday, our 6th graders participated in a litter pick-up around the school!

During an EOG celebration, students that made growth were able to throw water balloons and pies at Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Potter.
On Memorial Day, students from Mrs. Jarrett's band classes, participated in Taps Across America.
TAPS ACROSS AMERICA provides an opportunity for all musicians of any age or ability the honor of sounding live Taps in recognition of the sacrifice of those veterans that have passed in service to their country. tapsacrossamerica.org

Attention 8th Grade Families, please see the graphic for information regarding a new requirement for 9th grade students. Tomorrow Mrs. Cummings and Mrs. Raynor will be visiting classrooms to help students with this selection.

If you or your child are interested in requesting the 3-year accelerated graduation pathway, you must attend the parent meeting on Thursday, May 23rd at 6pm. The meeting will be held at Charles B. Aycock HS in the new gym.

Saturday, the 8th Grade Cobra Band and the CBA Falcon Band took on Kings Dominion! Both groups performed before judges that gave amazing praise to our talent musicians. Your Cobras came home with a rating of Excellent!! We're so incredibly proud of you all and can't wait to hear you Thursday night for your final bow as a Cobra Band.
