Today, we are celebrating the Month of the Military Child! Service members from different military branches are visiting during lunch, giving students the opportunity to learn about military life, ask questions, and connect with them.

Tomorrow is FAFSA night! Seniors, if you have not completed your FAFSA, come out and join us. We will meet in the cafeteria from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to assist students in completing the FAFSA.

Mark your calendars! Goshen Medical will be on campus after school on May 6th for sports physicals. This opportunity is open to current and upcoming Southern Wayne students. These physicals will be valid for all school athletics next year.

Today at the Southeast Regional Rally at UMO we had a good representation. Taylor Lee competed in extemporaneous public speaking and placed 4th which qualifies her for state convention. We also were recognized for Cameron Beasley placing 3rd in the region for tractor driving. We are so proud of these FFA Saints 💛💙
We want to give a shoutout to John Gerken and his students! They have worked hard to build new athletic benches at the football and soccer field. The benches are absolutely beautiful and will last for years to come. They even took the time to level the dirt so the benches sit nice and firm. Thank you to everyone who helped with this project!
The JV and Varsity Baseball Teams are taking on SSS at home tonight. The JV game begins at 4:00, and Varsity will begin about 6:45. Between the games (about 6;00), we will be celebrating Coach Doyle Whitfield. Come out and join us!
