On Wednesday, we will honor Sam Jones, three-time Olympian and former Southern Wayne Saint, at the basketball games that night. She is being awarded the Long Leaf Pine Award, which is granted by the office of the Governor. The basketball games begin at 4:30. We hope to see you there!

Inclement Weather Announcement: Due to the icy conditions impacting secondary roadways, all schools will be CLOSED for students and staff, tomorrow, Thursday, January 23.
Winter Sports pictures are scheduled for Thursday, January 23. Athletes will be called to the new gym to take pictures starting at 9:15 am.
The following clubs are meeting during second period tomorrow: FFA, FCA,
NHS, Spanish Honor Society, Creative Writing club, FTA, SASI, SNHS, HOSA and Principal's Advisory Council. Students should report to second period for attendance and will then be released for clubs. Don't forget, we are on an early dismissal schedule tomorrow.
