Purpose & Activities
To provide students with opportunities to cultivate 21st century skills in communication,
collaboration, leadership, and flexibility through the coordination of various school activities and
service projects.
To foster school spirit and benefit the community.
To advocate for the needs and interests of students.

Elementary Battle of the Books (5th Grade) and Middle School Battle of the Books (Grades 6-8)
Students who are interested in participating in the Battle of the Books should let Mrs. York kimberlyyork@wcps.org know and ask what next year's reading list will be so they can begin reading over the summer, as these lists will be published before the end of May. Team members will be selected during the first few weeks of the school year based on their knowledge of titles and authors.
