Spring Creek Youth Association

  • Spring Creek Youth Association is not sponsored or affiliated with SCMS or WCPS. This is an independent local organization with which many of our families choose to participate.

Purpose & Activities

  1. To provide students with opportunities to cultivate 21st century skills in communication,

    collaboration, leadership, and flexibility through the coordination of various school activities and

    service projects.

  2. To foster school spirit and benefit the community.

  3. To advocate for the needs and interests of students.

    d. to promote goodwill and beneficial relationships between students, staff, families, and the

    community

    e. to create welcoming experiences for new and returning students.

Elementary Battle of the Books (5th Grade) and Middle School Battle of the Books (Grades 6-8)

  • Students who are interested in participating in the Battle of the Books should let Mrs. York know.

  • Team members will be selected during the first few weeks of the school year based on their knowledge of titles and authors.
