Special Olympics Success at Mount Olive University
Our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-grade students from Tommy’s Road Elementary had an incredible day participating in the Special Olympics held at Mount Olive University. It was an inspiring event where our students demonstrated sportsmanship, determination, and a lot of heart.
The day was filled with various athletic events, giving our students the chance to showcase their skills and cheer one another on in a supportive environment. Watching our Roadrunners compete and celebrate their achievements alongside their peers was a wonderful experience for everyone involved.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Ms. Edmond, Ms. Hamm, and Ms. Atkinson for their hard work in coordinating the trip and supporting our athletes throughout the day. Their dedication ensured that our students had a safe, fun, and memorable experience.
