Today was an extra special day at Tommy’s Road Elementary! Our entire team of teachers, administrators, and staff gathered for our official Opening Staff Meeting to gear up for an incredible school year ahead.
We wanted to share a quick "behind-the-scenes" look at how hard our staff is working to prepare for your children's return!
🤝 Reconnecting, Planning & Building Energy
Our teachers and staff spent the day collaborating, setting goals, and making sure everything is in place for a safe, welcoming, and successful school year:
🍳 Staff Meet & Greet: We kicked off the morning with a warm meet-and-greet over breakfast, giving teachers time to reconnect and welcome our new staff members to the TRE family.
📚 Collaborative Planning: Grade-level teams and departments worked together on lesson plans, instructional strategies, and fun classroom ideas designed to inspire your children.
💡 Important Updates: Leadership shared exciting updates regarding safety procedures, new learning resources, and school-wide support initiatives.
🥗 Refueled & Ready: We wrapped up the day with a delicious staff lunch to celebrate our team spirit. Our energy is high, and we are ready to welcome our students!

🏫 Open House Event: Join us on Thursday, August 20th, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Come meet your child's teacher, explore the classrooms, and drop off school supplies!
🎒 First Day of School: Mark your calendars for Monday, August 24th as we officially open our doors to all our Tigers for Day 1!
