Principal's Message
Welcome Students and Families,
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year at Wayne School of Engineering (WSE)! We're so excited to welcome new and returning students from across our county as we kick off another year of learning and growth.
Our dedication to a rigorous and relevant curriculum remains steadfast, empowering students to excel both in high school and beyond. Our honors curriculum is meticulously designed to provide students with the skills and drive necessary to thrive in today's world, including the unique opportunity to take college courses and complete an associate's degree while simultaneously fulfilling the requirements for their high school diploma. You'll find that all courses at WSE are taught by a highly qualified staff who hold high expectations and are committed to high-level student engagement, ensuring every student receives the support and challenge they need to succeed.
Parents, you are an integral part of the WSE community. We strive to create a comfortable place where learning and understanding are paramount. Student success is a team effort. To support this, I am committed to making sure WSE students receive a challenging course load that truly prepares them for their futures. I strongly encourage you to join our Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO) and become an active member. Together, we can continue to foster a positive school culture where parents and staff work hand-in-hand.
Clear communication is key at WSE. Our teachers are committed to supporting you in this academic environment. We primarily use Remind and our school website to keep you informed. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me or your teachers with any questions or concerns. Open lines of communication are vital for us to best serve every student and parent.
At WSE, positive, helpful customer service is a priority. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop by the school or call. We're here to help!
We look forward to a successful and inspiring school year.
Sincerely,
Carol Watson, Principal
