Lottery for Special Purpose Schools!
Wayne County Public Schools (WCPS) is proud to offer three Special Purpose Schools to students and families which are as unique as they are innovative in design. The lottery application for students wishing to attend a Special Purpose School will open in December and are due by 4 PM on February 13, 2026.

Attention current 10th grade students!
Attention rising juniors! Are you interested in becoming a teacher one day? Then consider enrolling in the WCPS Teacher Cadet Program! You can receive free college classes, have opportunities to attend state and national conferences, be able to earn microcredentials and digital badges, experience apprenticeship and/or pre-apprenticeship pathways, and more! The best part is that you can take the first steps to becoming a teacher before you graduate high school!
