Ava Ginn and Dasia Drotzur take their Volleyball game to the next level!

Ava Ginn and Dasia Drotzur will be taking their excellent volleyball skills and moving on to play at the college level. Both players have signed to play volleyball for the Statesmen of Richard Brand College. 

We are excited for the future of these talented Golden Falcons!

Golden Falcon Tennis - State 3A Championship Results

This past weekend, CBA's doubles team of Journey Perry/Nathan Call competed in the State 3A Men's Tennis Tournament in Burlington. 

In a 16 draw composed of the top teams in NC, Perry/Call won their first 2 matches before falling in the semi-finals. 

The Golden Falcons doubles team made CBA history as being the first in school record to make the semifinals in individual play. 

These 2 young men finished their season with an overall 18-3 doubles record.  Journey Perry, our #1 player and a senior, compiled over 100 wins(singles and doubles) in his 4 yr. career while Nathan Call is a sophomore and first year player who had a 15-1 singles record this year.

We are so proud of all of our Golden Falcon Tennis players and are excited for next season!

3A Track Eastern Regional Championship Results for CBA

Please congratulate the following athletes for an outstanding performance at this past Saturday's (May 10) Eastern Regional Track and Field Championships.

William "Seth" Cowan placed 1st in Shot Put

Alonna Frederick placed 1st in Shot Put

Jadon Best placed 2nd in Shot Put

Ayden Booker placed 4th in the 400 Meter Dash

Our guys 4x400 Relay finished 3rd with Ayden Booker, Chandler LeGrand, Dayvion Hough, and Jeremiah Hendricks.

These athletes have qualified to compete at the 3A State Championship this Friday, May 16 at NC A & T State University in Greensboro, NC.

Congratulations to Amelie Banasing, a senior at CBA for having her artwork selected to be entered into the Freedom Fest Art Contest. This beautiful artwork honoring our military will be entered into the High School division of the Freedom Fest Art Contest downtown this summer. The Golden Falcons are a talented bunch!

Join our CBA cheerleaders for Future Falcon Cheer Camp! This is for rising Kindergartners through Rising 5th Graders  Dates are June 25-27 from 9-12. This is a fundraiser for the 2025-2026 Cheer Team .

Seniors...Are you planning to attend college after graduation?  Have you submitted your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)? All college-bound seniors are encouraged to submit the FAFSA, regardless of family income.  CBA HS has 76 seniors that have completed this step.  Beginning Monday, April 28th we will recognize students who have completed their FAFSA.  Students will be entered into a raffle drawing for some awesome gift cards including Sweet Frog, Starbucks, Dominos, Old Navy, Zaxby's and Krispy Kreme.  We will draw 3 winners each week beginning April 28th- May 30th.  So, what are you waiting for?  Apply today!
