AYC will host the homecoming dance on Saturday, October 11th in the new gym from 7:30-10:30pm.
Tickets will go on sale Monday, October 6th via GoFan (Ticket Link) and are $15 each. Students will need to fill out a Google Information Form (Click Here) as well. These links will be sent out in an email from Ms. Simpson as well.
If you are planning to take a guest that does not attend CBA, you will need to get a permission form from Ms. Simpson in room 604 or Ms. Frederick in room 113 ASAP. The permission form is due back by October 10th.
Students from Norwayne, or any other middle school, are not permitted to attend. Guests that have already graduated from high school will be approved on a case-by-case basis depending on their age.
Concessions will be sold during the dance, so be sure to bring cash with you!

There will be a swim team interest meeting in Coach Joyner's room 701 on Monday, October 13th at 9:00am. Please let Coach Joyner if you are interested and cannot attend the meeting.
Congratulations to senior Simone Hall. She paid her senior fees by Sept. 30th and is the lucky winner of the custom Diploma and Tassel Frame from Herff Jones. Simone, please report to the front office at this time to claim your prize!
Congratulations to Leyton Taylor who finished first in the federation FFA tractor driving event held at the Wayne regional fair yesterday. Leyton will now compete in the state event in February. David Odom also had a nice run and finished 5th, we appreciate both of these guys for competing.
The next driver’s education class will be held at Goldsboro High School in the school cafeteria from 8 am to 2 pm. Classes are October 11, 18, 25, November 1, and 8.The classes are by sign up only on the Wayne County Public Schools website. A student must be 14 1/2 on the first day of class. When the class is closed an email will be sent out to the student to inform them they successfully got in the class.
