At the Pre-Regional Tournament at Barton College in Wilson on Monday, all 4 Falcons Women's Tennis players were victorious. This included Ava Keim and Sarah Tuck in doubles(defeated #2 doubles team from S. Wayne) while Dayna Boutte defeated #1 player from Rocky Mt. and Abigayle Abrams defeated #5 singles player from Wilson Fike in a 3 hr. marathon match 7-6,7-5 in singles.
Our #1 seeded doubles team of Kannyn Fail and Katelynn McDermott received a bye as #2 overall seed.
All of CBA's top 6 players now qualify for the Regional tourney to be played at Barton College next Friday, Oct. 17 . In addition, all 6 players will compete this Wed. Oct. 8, (weather permitting) at Barton for the Conference tournament.
