With a gym full of family and friends, Baseball Golden Falcon, Janeson Steele signed his letter of intent to play baseball with the ECU Pirates. Janeson comes from a family of Golden Falcon graduates and athletes who have a history of success at CBA.
"Baseball has always been a game I've loved just because of the fact that it comes with failure and you have to face adversity to be successful." Janeson said when asked why baseball? Where did the love come from? "I fell in love with the game when I was 10 because I loved playing with the guys and winning games in tournaments."
When he was asked why he chose ECU he said " mostly because of the culture and the coaching staff. It feels like, during games, that the whole town is cheering you on to win. The coaching staff really cares about you when they talk to you and they are very interested in our academics as well as our baseball."
Janeson plans to major in Exercise Physiology while at ECU.
We wish this young man every success both on the field and off!!!
