On Tuesday, January 20th before their scheduled meeting, the Wayne County Commissioners recognized the record setting Golden Falcon Men's Soccer team with a County Resolution.
The county commissioners stated in their resolution: "The Wayne County Board of Commissioners recognized the extra ordinary athletic accomplishments of the Charles B. Aycock High School Soccer Team and share its pride and support for the students and coaching staff."
Attending the meeting were all of the county commissioners, Coach Horton, CBA Athletic Director, Mr. Cunningham, CBA Principal, and Coach Huff, head men's soccer coach at CBA.
