Creativity came full circle in this special collaboration between Aycock High School and Fremont Elementary School!
Kindergartners began by coloring their own friendly monsters. Then, Fashion and Textile students brought those drawings to life by sewing felt monsters that matched each child’s original design, right down to the colors and details.
Each monster included a hidden red heart and a poem promoting kindness. Meeting the kindergartners and seeing their reactions made this project one to remember!
