Please congratulate the Boy's Soccer team for their win against Grantham yesterday afternoon. They played beautifully against Grantham. The whole team played as a unit, showing improved skills with passing, blocking and scoring. Matthew Moore played a new position and did not disappoint, helping our offense remain in a scoring position for much of the game. Joel Gomez scored a goal and Chad Craft scored his first goal of the season. Sergio Castaneda was able to capitalize on some amazing passes from Matthew Cottrell and Alejandro Villamizar. Sergio broke his personal record and scored 4 goals this game. Final score Greenwood 6, Grantham 1. Way to go T-Birds! Conference record now stands at 4 wins to 2 losses.
The Volleyball team also played Grantham yesterday at home. The game was a back and forth contest the entire afternoon with each team taking 2 sets with the 5th set as the deciding set. In spite of all the T-Bird team's efforts, Grantham reached 15 points first. Even though the T-Bird volleyball team lost, we are proud of your efforts.
Both teams have a bye day on Thursday and will be back in action on Monday, October 30 at home vs WSE. Games will begin at 4:30pm and admission is $5.00

Way to go T-Bird Volleyball! The Lady T-Birds are now 7-2 on the season.
It was an exciting game this afternoon on the T-Bird Turf for our T-Bird boy's soccer team. Greenwood played hard and kept the score close during both halves. Defense did a good job of limiting the scoring attempts made by the other team. Matthew Cottrell scored his first goal of the season. The final score was Mt Olive 4, Greenwood 1.
